SSD (SMAF Sound Decorator) is a tool for converting SMF(.mid) data into SMAF(.mmf) data. For explanations of the main features of SSD, please click on the links below.

This section explains how to use SSD and describes its main functions. For more detailed explanations, please refer to the manual.
Basic operation
Other features of SSD are as follows:
Specifying the target sound chip
Select the target sound chip (MA-2,MA-3 or MA-5).
Entering content information
Select settings to enable or disable editing, saving, and transfer of SMAF content.
Enter SMAF content information. Press the button to display the Contents Information dialog screen. Enter the song title, artist name, and copyright information in the corresponding fields.
The voice set that corresponds to each icon is classified as follows(in the case of MA-3/MA-5).
STANDARD
Standard voice set
BRIGHT
Upbeat voice set
BITTER
Solid-sounding voice set
REFLECT
Voice set with spatial ambience effects
CYBER
Voice set with cyber-digital sound
The names of the voices used in a song will be displayed. Clicking on a voice name displays a pop-up list of available voices in the available voice sets. To switch voices, select a different voice from the list.
