A number of software tools which can be used to create SMAF multimedia content are available for downloading. These tools can be downloaded free of charge and documentation in PDF format is also available. The tools include authoring software, for creating original content; file conversion utilities, for converting existing Multimedia files(.mid/.wav/.aif) to SMAF files(.mmf); and voice libraries-sound samples which can be used in the creation of SMAF files(.mmf).
To get started developing SMAF content, try out one of the authoring-tool-the ATS-MA2-SMAF,ATS-MA5-SMAF or ATS-MA7-SMAF. These are both easy-to-use, fully-functional audio authoring applications.
