Sometimes I find that when I use FM sounds, the ringtone sounds organ-like. Is this normal? How can it be avoided?

Hi Robbie,

When the attack portion of an FM sound is over, the sustained tone often has no "movement" in it. Once a few sustained chords get layered up, the sounds will certainly end up organ like. There are a couple of solutions:

1. Get movement in your FM sounds by doubling a track and de-tuning it with a little pitchbend.
2. Try to avoid long chords that use FM voices in your music
3. Look to the PCM side of MA for your pads and sustained sounds.
